Learn advanced user story writing across a wide variety of domain types using games! This session will introduce advanced user story writing and user story splitting techniques through a combination of presentation, games, and the use of example stories from participants. Whether or not your solution has a user interface, you’ll find stories that pertain to your business. Please consider bringing a few user stories with you of 50 words or less. The games and ready made user stories include a vast expansion from the set presented at Agile Games 2017.
About the Speaker:
Damon Poole is a freelance Agile coach who has coached and trained thousands of people at companies such as EMC, Capital One, Oanda, Ford, and Fidelity. At Eliassen Group, Damon led the Agile Delivery team which grew to hundreds of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. He created Eliassen’s Agile Transformation approach and led the effort to provide opportunities for the coaches to advance in their coaching journey. He has learned from Agile Coaches in an enormous variety of client environments and from the wider international Agile community. Damon was president of Agile New England for two years and speaks frequently at Agile Alliance, Agile New England, Atlassian Summit, Agile and Beyond, and other Agile conferences.
