Agile, The Life-Size Board Game!

Damon Poole

Why do we work towards ever higher levels of Agility? Think for a moment of the team you were on, whether work related or not, that was the “team with the best results ever.” By definition, it had the best results ever, but I’ll bet morale was also high. This is why we strive for Agility. Results and morale go hand in hand and together create the most viable organizations.

In this game, the entire audience will be the playing pieces, navigating a whole-room maze to discover new markets and new products. Will you be able to generate enough money to stay in business? You’ll start as a “traditional” organization and have the opportunity to transform into a thriving Agile organization by applying concepts such as self-organization, cross-functional teams, MVPs, breaking work down by value, and more. Come to play and learn in a way that is only possible in-person! Then, bring the game back for your own in-person company event.
