Studying the unconscious decisions we make can be critical when it comes to designing products or software people use, or when trying to uncover precisely what’s wrong with our workplace today. In this session we will share five different kinds of unconscious biases, including a hands-on exercise involving a very common bias we see in the workplace, “The Affinity Bias.”
